On Friday, November 21, the Indian Undergraduate Association (IUA) hosted a festival in celebration of Diwali, one of the largest festivals in India. Diwali, often called the Festival of Lights, is a traditional Hindu festival dedicated to the victory of light against darkness, and good over evil. As commonly seen in India around this time of year, the celebration was filled with traditional Indian music and plenty of lights. At the event held in Walker Gym, dancers from outside schools came to perform, including Seton Hall and Rutgers University.
