With November rolling around, Hoboken’s first-ever restaurant week approaches. Restaurant weeks are a great way to find hidden gems or up-and-coming restaurants, and at decent prices, too. Many places during a restaurant week offer special, multi-course “prix-fixe” (fixed price) meals, often with reduced rates to help attract potential customers. Historically, cities like Jersey City, New Brunswick, and NYC have had their own respective restaurant weeks, with these events most commonly occurring during the summer.
Hoboken has decided to follow this tradition, with The Hoboken Business Alliance (HBA) declaring Hoboken’s inaugural restaurant week starting November 9, 2026 and lasting all the way up until November 22, 2026. The main purpose of this event is to celebrate Hoboken as one of New Jersey’s prominent dining cities while also providing businesses the opportunity to draw in customers.
As said on their website, “The initiative reflects the HBA’s ongoing commitment to supporting Hoboken’s businesses through strategic programming that increases visibility and economic activity.”
At the moment, there are over 20 restaurants participating in this two week event, including, but not limited to, Alessio’s Cafe, Muteki Ramen, and Uncle Rocco.
Alessio’s Cafe is best known for authentically sourced cuisine and dedication to bring Italian tradition to Hoboken, treated with care. Alessio’s Cafe will be offering a three-course prix-fixe lunch and dinner including an appetizer, entree, and dessert that’s available from Thursday to Sunday priced at $30.
Uncle Rocco started from the same crew as Antique Bar and Bakery, which was voted #1 Restaurant of the Year three years in a row from 2021 to 2023. They will have 20% off all dine-in and direct ordering on their website all week.
Muteki Ramen has been running for the past 20 years, serving authentic Japanese style ramen with a wide variety of food options. Muteki Ramen will be hosting a restaurant week special with a $30 prix-fixe meal consisting of a karaage fried chicken appetizer, ramen entree, and Thai iced tea.
But of course, those are far from all the restaurants participating! Since Stevens lies right at the heart of the Hoboken restaurant scene, food connoisseurs or anyone who really just wants to try out new food at lower prices should definitely consider restaurant week. Bring some friends and family along as well, and it will surely be an unforgettable experience for everyone!
