As the 2025-26 academic year comes to a close, Stevens athletics once again proved its strength across the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC). From repeat conference championships to major individual honors, the Ducks continued to build on their tradition of excellence, with several programs extending championship streaks and student-athletes earning recognition at the conference, regional, and national levels.
The fall season started with success on the soccer field. Women’s Soccer captured the MAC Freedom Championship and earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament after finishing 12-4-6 overall and 6-1 in conference play. The Ducks’ strong postseason run added to Stevens’ championship success in the fall and highlighted the program’s continued presence as one of the top teams in the conference.
Men’s Soccer continued its championship tradition with a fifth straight MAC Freedom title, finishing the season 9-4-6 overall and 4-1-2 in conference play. The Ducks’ postseason success reflected their consistency on both sides of the field and secured another NCAA Tournament appearance for the program.
Men’s Volleyball held conference dominance, winning its fifth consecutive MAC Championship with a 3-1 victory over Messiah. The Ducks also earned national recognition, with three players receiving AVCA All-American honors after another strong postseason run. Women’s Volleyball finished 22-10 overall and 6-1 in MAC Freedom play, while head coach Macon Frey earned AVCA Thirty Under 30 recognition after leading the Ducks to three straight conference championships in her first three seasons.
Men’s Golf captured its sixth consecutive MAC Freedom Championship, carding a +23 over two rounds and winning by 63 strokes — the program’s largest margin since joining the conference. The Ducks also swept all five spots on the All-MAC Freedom First Team, advanced to the NCAA Championships, and earned the President’s Special Recognition Award for posting a team GPA above 3.5, showing the Ducks’ ability for excellence both on and off the field.
Men’s and Women’s Swimming both continued their dominance in the MAC, with the men claiming their seventh straight conference championship and the women winning their second consecutive title. The women finished nearly 300 points ahead of second-place Misericordia, while the men won by nearly 200 points and added MAC Rookie of the Year honors.
Men’s and Women’s Basketball both made strong postseason runs in the MAC Freedom. The men won the conference tournament championship, finished 18-10 overall, and advanced to the NCAA Division III Championship, while the women reached the MAC Freedom title game after a dominant semifinal win over Arcadia. Both teams also earned multiple All-MAC Freedom selections, adding individual recognition to their postseason success.
Wrestling finished second at the MAC Championships, with the Ducks claiming two individual conference titles and seven top-five finishes. The program also earned national recognition at the NCAA Championships, where two wrestlers secured All-American status, while adding a MAC Senior Scholar-Athlete honor for success both on the mat and in the classroom.
As the year moved into the spring, Stevens continued its strong run with another stretch of postseason success, as several programs turned strong regular seasons into conference titles, national appearances, and major individual recognition.
Softball clinched a spot in the MAC Freedom Tournament after sweeping FDU-Florham in the final regular-season doubleheader, finishing 24-15 overall and 9-5 in conference play. The Ducks showed late-season fight with key shutout wins before their postseason run came to an end in the conference tournament.
Baseball finished 28-15 overall and 14-7 in MAC Freedom play, reaching the conference semifinal series after a strong regular season. The Ducks pushed top-seeded DeSales to a winner-take-all Game 3 and kept their postseason run alive with a comeback win in Game 2.
Men’s and Women’s continue to show their dominance in the MAC Freedom, with each team capturing another conference championship. The men won their sixth straight MAC Freedom Tournament title, while the women earned their fifth straight championship and swept the conference’s major year-end awards for the second consecutive season.
Men’s and Women’s Track and Field both closed out the MAC Outdoor Championships with strong individual and relay performances. The women finished fifth overall with 76.5 points, highlighted by a 1-2 finish in the 400-meter hurdles, while the men placed seventh with 65 points and earned several top-five finishes across field events, relays, and distance races.
The 2025-26 season showed the depth and consistency of Stevens athletics across every part of the year. From conference titles to postseason appearances and academic honors, the Ducks continued to set a high standard for success. As Stevens turns toward the next season, its programs carry forward a strong foundation, proving once again that the Ducks remain a major presence in the MAC and beyond.
