Pierpaolo Piccioli is out, and Nariman Narfarvar is IN. In a shocking turn of events, after we all thought that the creative director musical chairs were over, Nariman Narfarvar is dropping Snevets and going to Balenciaga. Piccioli might be going to H&M after it was found that John Galliano went to Zara.
This is a stunning upset, and I decided to interview Narfarvar about the position since the landscape of fashion is kept behind closed doors. When asked how this situation even happened, he said, “Piccioli’s collection was lowkey cheeks so Kering fired him, and they realized they wanted the big dog in the position, ME.”
The House will now be held with Narfarvar at the forefront. When asked about this decision to leave the school, he claimed, “Stevens mad chopped and so is Atilla :P.” I was like woah, how could he say this? But then, when talking about his inspiration in fashion, he continued to express his love for Vivet by Kai Cenat and said, “Fakemink, Nettspend, and Kai are all my inspirations. When I saw Mink walk the Gucci by Demna show, I was like #needthat and decided to use my connections to move to Europe or wherever Balenciaga’s house was at.”
His first collection is set to debut for the Spring Summer 2027 collections in September. We are all excited for this decision because he said that his inspirations were ChatGPT, Claude, Attila, Tillie, Grease (the musical), SASE, FAST, uhhhhhh, and also Palmer lawn for some reason.
In my opinion, I think this was a great decision, and I’m lowkey interested to know how he can mix both the scaffolding at Morton and Balenciaga together. I hope he keeps the city bag and rodeo bag in the mix, and he’ll be at the company for a while. The first look is set to happen in August. Although Narfarvar is leaving Snevets, he said that he won’t forget us and will sell it at the bookstore, and we can use our DuckBills on it, so that’s pretty great.
