Stevens Baseball and Women’s Lacrosse earn major national academic honors

As the new academic year gets underway, Stevens can start off on a high note by celebrating standout classroom achievements from the spring, highlighted by major national academic recognitions for both the baseball and Women’s Lacrosse programs for their performances throughout the 2025-26 season.

Stevens baseball captured the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the 11th consecutive year. The Ducks cleared the award’s 3.0 benchmark, posting a 3.75 spring GPA and finishing with a 3.74 cumulative mark.

In Stevens Women’s Lacrosse, the program was recognized as an Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad for the 22nd time in program history after eclipsing the required 3.2 cumulative GPA standard.

The Ducks also made a major statement on the national leaderboard: 17 student-athletes were named to the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll, tying Bates College for the highest individual total of any institution across the country!

These national honors set the tone for the year ahead, demonstrating the standard of dedication that follows scholar-athlete leadership at Stevens. Congratulations to both programs on continuing to raise the bar.
