Ah, the accessory we all have too much of, can’t spend enough on, and will never stop daydreaming of. What is it with shoes anyways? I mean sure, they can’t really be categorized as an accessory. Instead, they are an essential part of our wardrobes; we certainly do not leave the house without them. How often do you find yourself dazed upon a blouse the same way we drool over a perfect shoe? Uh, hardly ever. They truly are works of art. A good pair can last you years, and if you’re like me, you buy the same exact pair repeatedly because why reinvent the wheel? When you find true love, you don’t go looking for something better, you’ve already got it, right there on your foot!
Red bottoms, pointy stilettos, square toe sandals, chunky boots, classic white sneaks … I mean come on, what is there not to love? They say eyes are the gateway to the soul, I say shoes are the gateway to style. You can tell a lot about a person by the shoes they wear. There’s a reason why for years we have been pouring loads of money into the shoe industry with no sign of stopping. They will forever be that one thing we can’t get enough of. No matter how many we have, or how much we spend, there will always be more out there to get our hands on. Each season we get new styles, and each year we see new trends.
This fall its chunky boots, its western styles, its knee highs or thigh highs, its clogs, its furry shearlings or sleek leathers or smooth suede, its printed fabrics, or solid colors. And I want all of it! That’s the best thing about shoes I think (well at least one of them), there’s something for everyone. I admire style icons like Hailey Bieber who can step out in sporty Jordan’s one day and strappy stilettos the next all while maintaining her style. According to Yves Saint Laurent, “fashion fades, style is eternal.”
Since shoes hold the power of making or breaking an outfit, we are lucky enough to live in an age with an abundance of shoes. It’s easier than ever to load up your wardrobe with the trendiest shoes that fit your vibes. With that being said, now is the time to explore all your vibes. In a world where you can be anything, be as much as you damn well please! Don’t limit yourself if you don’t want to, push your boundaries, expand your style. Purchase a pair of shoes you would have never imagined that you would like. And watch yourself fall in love with the confidence and newness a fresh pair of kicks can bring you. Be authentic but be bold. Nothing out there is not meant for you, make it you! With the right mindset you look good in everything you put on.

Zola Zip platform boots from Urban Outfitters is one of my recent fall purchases that I find myself wearing just about every other day. A great quality boot right on trend; I’m obsessed. They come in a cream color too!
A good ole classic white Nike Sneaker, I get mine from Kohl’s. I’m onto my second pair but asking for a third for Christmas. These are the perfect white sneakers, no need for me to switch it up, I love these just the way they are.
These faux leather strappy block heels from Nasty Gal were my most recent purchase. I wore them to a wedding, and they received all the compliments! They’re perfect as a statement piece for events and I absolutely LOVE them.
These split leather cowboy boots from Zara have my attention and might end up on my Christmas list this year too—that is if I don’t purchase them myself first. I mean they are just to die for!
