Sixth COVID-19 Case at Stevens

As of Sunday, March 29, 2020, there are now six official COVID-19 cases at Stevens.

The student has been recently hospitalized, and with the symptoms presented, likely has COVID-19. The student lived in the Lambda Upsilon Lambda (LUL) Fraternity House and was last on campus on March 18. The student became symptomatic on Saturday, March 21, and was admitted to the hospital Sunday, March 29.

Stevens has been notifying members of the Fraternity and others in the Stevens community who have been in close contact with the student and have asked them to self-isolate immediately; furthermore, Stevens will be thoroughly disinfecting the areas where the student and close contacts have resided.

Remember, if you experience any COVID-19 symptoms, self-isolate and contact your health care professional. If you test positive for COVID-19, immediately contact Stevens Student Health Services at 201-216-5678 or studenthealthcenter@stevens.edu.
