On February 22, 2019, at the Liberty Science Center, Stevens students celebrated the 10th Annual Founder’s Day Ball.
An accumulation of work from multiple organizations, Founder’s Day Ball was hosted by the Office of Student Life and the Division of Student Affairs, funded by the Student Government Association, and organized by the Founder’s Day Ball Committee, with assistance from the Entertainment Committee.
Founder’s Day Ball began as a small, complimentary event for the 140th anniversary of Stevens. The event began as a cocktail hour with about 150 to 200 attendees in what is now known as Bissinger, before it gained momentum over the years.
From Bissinger to the Liberty Science Center, the 10th Annual Founder’s Day Ball welcomed 550 guests. Guests were able to mingle at cocktail hour, and then once all the guests settled in their seats, Cris Collado, the Chair of the Founder’s Day Ball Committee, gave a toast to the 10th annual ball, ending with all the guests drinking a toast of sparkling apple cider from the Founder’s Day champagne flutes.
The rest of the night consisted of lots of dancing and lots of photos.
