Hayden and Davis water shutdown

On Thursday, February 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the water in Davis and Hayden Residence halls will be completely shutdown.

This is being done to permanently shut off water service for Jacobus Hall prior to its demolition, as it would be rather impractical to still have water flowing through the building when it is destroyed.

There will be no water for drinking, showers, or toilet use, but all other campus buildings will have normal water service for use during this time. Facilities did not specify as to whether this will be a one-time operation or if water service would need to be suspended multiple times over the course of the construction project.

The work will be done by Tomco Construction, Inc. under the supervision of Facilities Management.
