You may not be aware of it, but Snevets has a football team and she hasn’t lost yet. When the head coach, Betty Betty, was questioned about her team’s success, the only explanation she was able to come up with was, “I tell them to win and they do.” In addition to her must-win attitude, she later said that the manual labor she forces the team to participate in keeps them in shape and tired enough to not escape.
Due to the large number of seniors who will be leaving next semester, open tryouts will be held during the upcoming fall semester for the first time in Snevets Football. To participate, Betty requires that you are in good academic standing, which Betty considers to be a 4.3 grade point average, you must volunteer a minimum of 80 hours per week, and you must remain on an all-Pierce diet for the duration of the season. For more information, you may visit Betty in her office, which is located in the Giantfore Family Academic Center.
Please show your school spirit and support the Snevets Ducks football team at their first game, which will be held on September 17th, 2018 in Walker Gym.
