At the event, students could sample different traditional foods including Mushroom E-fu noodles, Shrimp Har Gow, BBQ Pork buns, Turnip cake, Spring rolls, fish fillet with mixed veggies, coconut pudding, drinks such as Calpico, Aloe drinks, and tea.
“Chinese new year is the largest celebration in Chinese Culture; friends and family gather together to eat delicious food and spend quality time together,” said CSA Vice President Jeff Ung.
The event also featured student fan dance and lion dance performances, as well as opportunities to write caligraphy. About 175 people attended the event.
