ESC Thanksgiving

The Ethnic Student Council (ESC) hosted their yearly Thanksgiving event on Wednesday, Nov. 15. ESC is an organization made up of nine cultural clubs which are all Registered Student Organizations (RSOs). All of the organizations within ESC were given a budget months ago and were told to bring a dish they thought best represented their respective country’s culture. Each club also sent some volunteers to help set up, serve, and clean up, so members could meet and work together to further the ESC’s goal of bringing the ethnic RSOs together. Club historian, Chelsea Aure, who was taking swipes at the entrance said, “ESC Thanksgiving is a way for us to come together, all the ethnic RSOs, and appreciate each other’s culture.” The event also included open mic performances and some raffle prizes.
