On Thursday, Nov. 2, the Korean Student Association, KSA, and the Console and Computer Gaming Society, C2GS partnered to host the first “PC Bang Night”. The event took the traditional Thursday Night LAN and added Korean influences by taking its name from the Korean “PC Bang”, a multiplayer gaming center in Korea, and adding ramen to the event. This event helped served as a replacement to KSA’s past event, Ramen Night.
Several types of instant ramen were available, from black ramen to spicy chicken. Additionally, the LAN was in full effect, with Smash 4 and Melee tournaments, along with other games such as Rockband.
C2GS will be hosting LANime, an Epic LAN, this Saturday in Babbio 122, in partnership with the Anime club. There will be Japanese snacks, and rice balls from Koro Koro. KSA will be hosting its next and last GBM on Monday, Nov. 13, at 9PM in Babbio 210.
