On Tuesday, April 25 in Babbio Atrium, the Chinese Student Association hosted their annual “International Dumpling Night”, in collaboration with SASE, FAST, KSA, IUA, and Nu Alpha Phi. A variety of Asian foods were available for students to feast on, including dumplings, spring rolls, samosas, pakora, pork and vegetarian gyoza, mandu, siopao, and Vivi’s popcorn chicken. “It was really fun co-hosting with the other ethnic clubs and seeing the different ‘versions’ of dumplings they brought!” said Tracy Wong, CSA Secretary. There was also an area where students could learn to fold dumplings out of play doh. “It was very creative and fitting with the theme. I’ve always wanted to learn how,” said Minsu Park, about the unique opportunity. Over 200 students came out to sample all the variations of dumplings available, and there was plenty of food for everyone. “Join CSA!” exclaimed Tracy, enthusiastic about bringing new members into the club beyond the events. The last GBM of the semester will be on May 4th, in BC 204 at 9 PM.
