On Tuesday, the Latin American Association (LAA) hosted its fourth annual Latin Jazz Night in Jacobus Lounge. Held in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the celebration featured the musical group Grupo Guarachando and traditional Hispanic food such as empanadas and pan de bono.
The event attracted about fifty people to dance to Grupo Guaranchando’s Latin music. While students will have to wait a year for the next Latin Jazz Night, LAA will be hosting a Dia de los Muertos celebration on Nov. 1.
The LAA’s next General Body Meeting will be on Oct. 11 at 9PM.
