Students may have noticed new, shiny vending machines in various places over the Stevens campus, like Hayden and the third floor of Babbio Center. These new machines now allow much healthier snack options like humus, Naked drinks, and Pure Leaf teas. Although these snacks might come at a higher price, they do take credit cards. However, they do not accept duck bills. So what propped the addition of these new vending machines and why do they not take duck bills? Well according to Anthony Blazini, the Director of Residence Life, said that Stevens is constantly looking for new healthy options. So when Stevens was offered healthier vending machines by a soda company, Stevens couldn’t refuse.
