On Monday, I was dismayed to learn that the final exam for Concurrent Programming had been moved forward by a week, joining Database Management Systems and many more courses in taking place during regular class time. Moving exams out of the exam period puts an additional burden on students, especially when several classes do so.
The final exam and review period allows students time to dedicate study, instead of forcing them to juggle exams with normal classwork and other projects.
I realize it’s too late to change now, but I hope any professors reading this keep it in mind for next semester and the future.
