It is really hard to pin down the exact likes and dislikes of the Stevens community. If Friday night was any indication, then it is certain that two of the things the campus can agree they like is sororities and pancakes. Two choices which are not bad by any standards.
Phi Sigma Sigma hosted their Pancake Night accruing much success in the course of their night. Sorority food-based events have become a sort of staple of Stevens and it was no surprise to see the large crowds flow in and out of the house.
Pancakes were served for a small fee, either plain or with chocolate chips, and for those more adventurous types, with a side of bacon. For those worried if one plate was enough for some of the attendees, the “all you can eat” nature of the event meant that familiar faces remained for quite some time until they satisfied their appetite.
While the open wallets of the Stevens community helped this philanthropy event become a success, the credit should be given to the tireless effort put forth by the sisterhood. Cooking such a great volume of pancakes was probably no easy feat and especially doing so until 3 a.m. which was when the event ended.
Their work displayed their dedication to raising money for their national philanthropy, the National Kidney Foundation.
