Spring Awakening preview

This weekend, Stevens Dramatic Society will be performing Spring Awakening. Spring Awakening is a story that deals with a lot of very sensitive subject matters, including physical abuse, sexual assault, and suicide.

Stupe: State of the School

President Narfarvar of Snevets announced, in his final speech as President, that he has sold the school. Up-and-coming entrepreneur and inventor Heinz Doofenshmirtz offered 20 million and 1 dollars for the entire institute, with plans to make it greater than ever before.

Death of an Editor

It is with great sadness that the Stupe must report that our Editor in Chief, Maryia Spiranovum, has passed away this past week, in what can only be described as an honorable death on the field of battle.

Preview of The Scottish Play

Macbeth will be playing in DeBaun Auditorium this weekend, put on by DeBaun Performing Arts. While not affiliated with Stevens Dramatic Society (SDS), there is a significant amount of overlap in both actors and crew of SDS and DeBaun Performing Arts.

ESC Thanksgiving

The Ethnic Student Council (ESC) hosted their yearly Thanksgiving event on Wednesday, Nov. 15. ESC is an organization made up of nine cultural clubs which are all Registered Student Organizations (RSOs).

Catalan issues declaration of independence from Spain

The Catalan President issued a Declaration of Independence on Tuesday, Oct, 10. Catalan is a region of Spain that has historically tried to be either independent or autonomous.

KSA Field Day

On Wednesday, September 20, the Korean Student Association (KSA) held its annual field day event on Palmer Lawn. KSA hosts this event every year, with cultural food and fun games in order to get the whole campus more involved, and to spread Korean culture.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeerrres Harvey

On Friday, August 26th, Hurricane Harvey made landfall in the small Texas town of Rockport. The storm devastated the area as it made its way inland to Houston, which was inundated with floods and rain, which broke all previous rainfall records for a single storm in the continental US, with 51.88 inches recorded.
