CollegeHumor comes to Stevens

On March 27, 2014, Tons of students came to Bissenger looking for free food and stayed for the free Standup Comedy show. The show opened with Matt Koff, who presently writes for the daily show. One of Koff’s opening jokes (about his last name) was interrupted by Stevens student Natalia Kafel, who said she was called nicknames such as “The cough” in high school. Koff spent the rest of his routine referring to Kafel as “The Big Cough” and alternated between telling jokes and asking her what her opinion on them were.

After Koff was Dan Gurewitch, a writer and member of the cast of CollegeHumor.com since 2006. He was on the website’s TVshow “The CollegeHumor Show” on MTV in 2009, and is also a Standup Comedian. Gurewitch spoke about a little of everything, from the advent of cake flavored M&Ms to appropriate washing techniques for couples in the shower.

After Gurewitch was Streeter Seidell, the executive editor ofCollegeHumor.com, and co-author of the website’s first book “The CollegeHumor Guide to College.” Seidell also co-starred and wrote for The CollegeHumor Show, as well as acting and performing in numerous sketches for the website itself.
